On December 8th, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with executives and professors from the university, attended an alumni reunion at the Peninsula Phnom Penh Hotel in Cambodia. These Cambodians alumni had been recipients of royal scholarships under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project, enabling them to pursue studies at the University of Phayao since 2012.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, expressed gratitude to all the alumni for serving as role models for the younger generation in terms of learning, determination, and diligence, both during their academic journey and in their subsequent contributions to the country upon graduation. The gathering, aligned with the objectives of the “Aid Program of the Kingdom of Cambodia,” saw the participation of 37 alumni from various disciplines.
