On Wednesday, October 18th, 2023, at the University of Phayao Hospital, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of University of Phayao, assigned Professor Dr. Samur Thanoi, Vice President for Research and Innovation, along with Vice President for Academic Affairs, Deans, and Directors of the University of Phayao, to extend a warm welcome to the executives from Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine.
During the meeting, Professor Dr. Samur Thanoi delivered a welcome speech and provided a brief introduction of the University of Phayao. Following that, Professor Yao Chun, President of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, explained the purpose of their visit, with a particular focus on discussing Thai medicine and exploring collaborations with the University of Phayao’s Chinese medicine clinics.
Assistant Professor Dr. Somkid Juwa, Dean of the School of Public Health, introduced the School of Public Health, and Dr. Warangkana Klajing, Head of the Traditional Chinese Medicine program, summarized the curriculum of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Both institutions then exchanged knowledge on education and had discussions regarding the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the University of Phayao and Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine. Additionally, they visited the University of Phayao Hospital.
