From August 31 to September 4, 2023, the Chinese Language and Chinese Medicine programs at the University of Phayao sent 27 students for Intensive Chinese Language study at Hainan Normal University, China. Sending the students to China led by Assistant Professor Dr. Supatra Yothinsirikul, Head of the Chinese Language program, and Dr. Suntaree Srivantaneeyakul, a lecturer of the Chinese Language program at the School of Liberal Arts. Additionally, three lecturers from the Chinese Medicine program at the School of Public Health, including Dr. Sasiwimon Butsrikiaw, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Quality Development, Dr. Warangkana Klaajing, Chairperson of the Chinese Medicine program, as well as Mr. Boonkiat Benjalerd, an expert in the Chinese Medicine program, also participated in this international mission. The purpose of this trip was to facilitate the first-year students from the Chinese Medicine and Chinese Language programs to travel to Hainan Normal University, China, for the Intensive Chinese Language study.
