From November 19th to 22nd, 2024, the University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University, along with Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape, Associate Professor Tipchan Wongchanta, Director of the University of Phayao Chiang Rai Campus, and Mr. Nattawut Somyaone, Assistant to the President, participated in the ASAIHL International Conference 2024 with the theme “University’s Role in Advancing Climate Crisis Reduction.” The conference, held at the University of Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia, aimed to establish academic collaborations between the University of Phayao and various Indonesian organizations. It also emphasized the importance of adapting to global trends and challenges, positioning the university as a driving force for innovation, and enhancing its competitiveness on the global stage.
